Posters for the Planet
In 2024, Gemma Pallisera and I made three posters for Posters for the Planet, aiming to address small everyday matters in which benefits for the climate can be achieved.

This first one is called “Less is Less”. It aims to remind all of us to be mindful of our daily grocery shopping in a light-hearted way.
The second one is called “Consume Wisely”. Avocado: a trendy food. It is healthy, it contains beneficial oils and vitamins. But for what worth? Producing them generates a lot of carbon emissions from shipping them overseas, growing them uses a lot of water and results in deforestation. Avocado is only one of the many examples that carry this problem. So we ask, is it an essential consumption.

And the third one is called “Unexpected Polluters” ur daily lives are full of polluters that we might not be aware of. Fast fashion or plastic cups might be on your radar already. But what about coffee capsules, tea bags, or even band aids? It is not realistic to say “do not use them”. However, being mindful of how much or how often is also a start.
